Common Questions

See some common questions and answers below, or call us at 501-940-4881.

  • Who does the Caddy Program Serve?

The Academy will focus on students in middle school. However, programing will fit toddlers to adults as well as lessons for entire family.

Do your values instill a purpose to serve the community?

The Academy encourages students to “get sum-give sum” During Christmas 2019, before the pandemic, students from Horace Mann Magnet Middle School participated in a community activism against hunger in our community. Golfers arrived at The Water Shed, a community-based program that provides resources during the holiday season. Golfers filled boxes with food and helped senior members of the community to their vehicles. The Highlight of the day was when golfers were able to express themselves on a city syndicated radio

    broadcast.

  • What are your fees?

The Academy is a non-profit organization. We rely on donations, grants, and a variety of programing that will allow growth. On average the initial cost of a single participant averages to $500. Please visit our donate page to ensure students are equipped to be as successful as possible.

  • What levels of skills do you coach?

Levels are based on 1 through 5.  Each level has a skill test for different aspects of the game of golf. For example, a level one golfer would be given a two-foot putt, the golfer would be given a specific amount of balls, out of those balls the golfer would be required to  hole 60% of the putts before advancing to next challenge.

The levels are designed to have to golfer compete at their specific skill level.
